Dana Ariss is a grade five teacher in Spruce Grove, Alberta.
Dana graduated from the University of Alberta with a B.Ed and from the University of Windsor in Ontario with a B.A.H. in Communication Studies and minors in Political Science and International Relations.
She left the corporate world to pursue her passion in education; to work with students and help them to achieve their highest potential. She is passionate about all forms of technology, building connections and continuous learning. She is an advocate for student voice and inquiry based learning.
Dana’s other interests include running, coaching basketball, soccer and track and field, writing and travel.
